Nicholas Galitzine reveals Hugh Jackman shared advice for ‘Masters of the Universe’ shoot: ‘We talked a fair bit about the process’ |
Nicholas Galitzine, the renowned actor who charmed his fans with his roles in ‘Red White & Royal Blue,’ ‘The Idea of You,’ ‘Purple Hearts,’ and ‘Cinderella,’ among others, has been trending all over the internet for his upcoming film ‘Masters of the Universe’ with Camila Mendes. Donning the iconic character, the 31-year-old expressed his nerves before stepping on the set. However, he had the veteran actor to the rescue, who helped him with intricate details. Here’s a closer look at Nicholas Galitzine taking advice from Hugh Jackman for ‘Masters of the Universe.’Galitzine revealed that the role of He-Man was one of the most challenging things in his life. Most importantly, he gained significant muscle mass, where every single cell of his body had a bulge. “I knew it would be a huge undertaking, but it was even harder than I thought,” he said during an interview with Vman. However, Hugh Jackman shared some of his pointers to Galatzine before the shooting started, as they had both worked together just before the superhero film shoot. “I luckily had just worked with Hugh Jackman right before we started filming, and we talked a fair bit about the process. He made a point to me that when he did the first X-Men, compared to the other iterations,” he said, before adding that Jackman had a steep learning curve earlier, but the challenge became easier as he continued to work. “If we get more iterations [of Masters of the Universe], I hope it will be easier. But I was very lucky to be in the position in the first place, so take it all with a pinch of salt,” he humorously stated.
