Selena Gomez has found a buyer for her lavish Encino, Los Angeles, mansion and has sold off the sprawling property for an estimated USD 5.4 million.After putting up the place on the market early this summer, the singer and actor has reportedly sold the property for an estimated USD 500,000 profit. After spending a few months on the market, the property was sold on Tuesday for USD 5.4 million, according to TMZ. However, this was an estimated USD 1 million less than the listed price of approximately USD 6.4 million.Gomez purchased the custom-built estate in 2020 for USD 4.9 million from the estate of rock legend Tom Petty.

The approximately 11,500-square-foot home sits on an acre of land and is neighbouring actor Vin Diesel’s property. The mansion reportedly features six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, along with a range of luxury amenities.One of its most recognisable spaces is the chef’s kitchen, which served as the sets for Gomez’s cooking series ‘Selena + Chef’. The property also includes a spacious living room and formal dining room, alongside a home recording studio, wine cellar, media room, massage room, gym and glam room.Outside, the approximately one-acre estate includes a swimming pool, fountains and waterfalls, creating a resort-like setting around the residence.The property was originally built for Petty and reflects the musician’s taste for a spacious, private retreat.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco splurge on Beverly Hills home
Gomez’s real-estate portfolio also includes the Beverly Hills mansion she purchased with husband Benny Blanco in December 2024 for a reported USD 35 million.The Spanish-style estate was previously owned by filmmaker Todd Phillips and was designed in 1928 by renowned architect Wallace Neff. The approximately 7,000-square-foot residence has since been restored and features seven bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. The property includes a library with a spiral staircase, a greenhouse-style solarium, gym, private theatre and studio space. The nearly one-acre estate also boasts a swimming pool, spa and landscaped gardens.Gomez and Blanco purchased the Beverly Hills property off-market in the same month they announced their engagement. The transaction was reportedly among the most significant residential real-estate deals in Beverly Hills in 2024.
