The publication stated, “Awarapan 2 has shaped up well as a musical, intense love story with Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani. The makers were considering several release dates and have finally decided on the Independence Day weekend.” The report also said the film is still on the floors and that the remaining shoot is expected to wrap by the end of April, followed by about 2 months of post-production.
