Rather than buying his own property in the area, Al Pacino chose to set up his base in one of Jackie Collins’ iconic residences located in the posh area of the Beverly Hills neighborhood. According to an Architectural Digest report, Pacino rented the place due to the fact that members of Collins’s family had previously lived there. He managed to arrange a long-term lease with her directly as his West Coast base.

He stayed there until shortly before the home was put up for sale in early 2025.Though the actor stayed in the property for almost two decades, the amount of rent that they paid on a monthly basis was never revealed to the public.
