Jr NTR attended the Telugu pre-release event of Fahadh Faasil’s upcoming fantasy entertainer ‘Don’t Trouble The Trouble’. The film is presented by SS Rajamouli and produced by his son SS Karthikeya; it marks the Malayalam actor’s Telugu debut as a lead.During the event, Jr NTR spoke warmly about Fahadh and revealed how much he admires his acting.
Jr NTR praises Fahadh Faasil
“The first time I ever watched Fahadh sir’s movie was ‘Bangalore Days’. And since then, my journey with Fahadh sir’s acting has started. I like very few actors; among them, the foremost and only actor I like is Fahadh garu. Sir, I am honoured to share this stage with him. You have inspired me many times as an actor, like an actor, sir. As an actor, I look up to you; I look up to you as my brother. Standing alongside him on this stage today truly brings me a lot of joy,” he said.
Jr NTR calls SS Karthikeya his younger brother
Jr NTR also spoke about his long-standing bond with SS Karthikeya and recalled knowing him since he was a child.“When I started ‘Student No. 1’, I was 17 years old. He is 8 years younger than me; he was 9 years old. I never imagined back then that this 9-year-old Karthikeya would stand here today as a producer. I am so, so, so proud that I cannot express it in words,” Jr NTR said.He added, “I have said it long ago: he is my younger brother. If my mother had given birth to another son, it would be Karthikeya; there is no other option for anyone else.”
Jr NTR reveals Karthikeya’s support during difficult times
Jr NTR then recalled how Karthikeya supported him during a difficult phase of his career and said he played an important role behind the making of RRR.“During those days when I didn’t understand what to do, when I had your love and the hopes you placed on me, and I couldn’t figure out how to give something back to all of you, just as you all stood by me, he stood right by my side without you knowing,” he said.Jr NTR continued, “If a film called ‘RRR’ happened, it means he was there; he stood by me. Our Jakkanna (referring to SS Rajamouli) shot it well, our Jakkanna wrote it well, but he stood up for us. Behind every smile on my face, he is there. Every time tears came from my eyes, along with your hand that wiped them, the other hand was his.”SS Rajamouli was also present on stage during the emotional speech.Jr NTR also asked audiences to support Karthikeya as he begins his journey as a producer. “Our Karthikeya is becoming a producer for the first time; he has become one. Don’t Trouble The Trouble is his first film as a producer. He needs all of your blessings. I hope that just as you all have blessed me, you will bless our younger brother the same way,” he said.
About ‘Don’t Trouble The Trouble’
Directed by debutant Shashank Yeleti, ‘Don’t Trouble The Trouble’ stars Fahadh Faasil as Suri, a magician who develops a friendship with a young girl played by Ssara Palekar. The story takes a fantastical turn when the girl develops supernatural abilities and is revealed to be a genie who can grant wishes. Saurabh Sachdeva also plays an important role in the film.‘Don’t Trouble The Trouble’ will release worldwide on October 2, 2026.
