Kajol marked 20 years of ‘Fanaa’ by looking back at one of the film’s toughest shoots. The actor recalled filming in freezing weather in Poland, where the temperature dropped to minus 27 degrees Celsius on the first day. She also remembered wearing a thin chiffon salwar kameez on a frozen lake while Aamir Khan had a thick jacket for the shoot.

According to ANI, Kajol shared the memory while reflecting on ‘Fanaa,’ which released in 2006 and starred her opposite Aamir Khan. The film brought the two actors together in a romantic drama directed by Kunal Kohli. Kajol played Zooni, a visually impaired Kashmiri woman, while Aamir played Rehan, a tourist guide with a dangerous secret.Kajol called Zooni special and wrote that the role stayed with her because she had to be herself without glasses. And off course the fact that I wore a thin salwar kameez while most everyone else was dressed in goose down.. what a blast from the past!”

Kajol also revealed that the song filmed in Poland did not make it to the final version in that form. The team later scrapped and reshot it in Mumbai.
