Actor Kartik Aaryan was spotted back on director Kabir Khan‘s sets, shooting for their untitled next.

A video of the hunk dressed in simple winter wear amid the picturesque Kashmiri town has been shared online. While the actor has been keeping a low profile, he is reportedly shooting for his next sports drama, said to be inspired by the life of kickboxing champion Tajamul Islam.

About Kartik Aaryan’s next with Kabir Khan

According to reports, Kartik has been cast as a kickboxing coach in the drama, which will chronicle Islam’s extraordinary rise from a small-town region in Kashmir to becoming India’s youngest kickboxing world champion and the first Kashmiri to win a sub-junior world title.Much like his previous film, Kartik has reportedly undergone intense physical training for the role. The film is expected to feature extensive shooting schedules across Srinagar and Pahalgam, with production reportedly aiming to wrap by October 2026 ahead of a planned theatrical release in 2027.

Kabir Khan shares glimpses from Kashmir

Kabir Khan, who has been actively documenting moments from his Kashmir visit, recently shared heartwarming glimpses from the Valley on his handle. Posting photos from the region, the filmmaker wrote, “Walking with my camera in Kashmir always rewards me with magical moments. Like this little girl in Aru who wanted me to tell @smriti_mandhana that she is her favourite player. I hope Smriti gets to see this post.”He further added, “Or the boys whose playground has a mountain stream as the boundary. If you hit a 6 the ball will flow all the way down the valley into the Jhelum river.”

Kartik Aaryan’s work slate

Meanwhile, Kartik also has a packed slate ahead. The actor will next be seen in ‘Naagzilla’, a fantasy creature comedy in which he plays a 600-year-old shape-shifting serpent. The film is currently slated for a theatrical release on February 12, 2027, after being pushed back to accommodate extensive VFX work.
