Lamborghini delivers first Temerario in India! What makes this 900+hp supercar insane!

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has delivered the first-ever Temerario in India, marking the arrival of the brand’s latest hybrid supercar in the country. The delivery also represents an important step in Lamborghini’s electrification strategy as the company transitions towards high-performance hybrid models. The model made its India debut last year, priced at Rs 6 crore, ex-showroom.

Lamborghini Temerario: Powertrain

The Lamborghini Temerario replaces the Huracan in the brand’s global lineup and brings with it an entirely new powertrain. At the heart of the supercar is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine paired with three electric motors and a 3.8 kWh battery pack. Together, the hybrid setup produces a massive 907 bhp and 800 Nm of torque.Interestingly, the V8 engine alone develops 789 bhp and 730 Nm while revving all the way up to 10,000 rpm. According to Lamborghini, this makes the Temerario the first production super sports car capable of reaching such high engine speeds.

Power is sent to the wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The battery pack can also be charged using a 7 kW AC charger, with Lamborghini claiming a charging time of around 30 minutes. Performance figures are equally dramatic. Lamborghini says the Temerario can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 kmph.

Lamborghini Temerario: Design and features

In terms of design, the Temerario retains Lamborghini’s unmistakable styling language. The supercar features a low-slung wedge-shaped profile, aggressive aerodynamic elements and sharp body lines. The front end gets sleek LED headlamps with signature hexagonal DRLs, while the rear features hexagonal LED tail lamps along with a centrally-mounted exhaust setup.

Inside the cabin, the Temerario gets a technology-focused cockpit layout. The driver gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, while passengers also receive a dedicated 9.1-inch display showing key vehicle information. At the centre sits an 8.4-inch vertically mounted infotainment touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.Lamborghini has also equipped the Temerario with multiple driving modes including Citta, Strada, Sport, Corsa and Corsa Plus.
