In a 2013 interview with Masala, Ram Charan shared, “I think she (Upasana) gets jealous when she sees the way I connect with my mother. As far as intimate scenes are concerned, I guess I shouldn’t lie about it. Yes, she was not comfortable with it initially. It’s understandable, she comes from a very different background, so it was hard for her to accept me doing these scenes. Frankly, I wasn’t sure she would understand, but to my surprise, she did! She’s very mature, and I love how she has blended into my family.“He explained that it took time for Upasana to understand the film industry. He gradually helped her become familiar with how film sets function.

Ram Charan’s marriage

Ram Charan and Upasana got engaged in December 2011. They tied the knot in a grand ceremony in June 2012. Their relationship has grown stronger over the years.On the work front, Ram Charan is all set for ‘Peddi’ which will release in June 2026.The actor recently showed appreciation for the team behind Vaazha 2.
