While in conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the ‘Breaking Bad’ actor’s mother opened up about how some things should best remain private when it comes to such matters and are not for her to tell the world. Talking about the ongoing rumours of a possible ‘rift,’ she mentioned, “Some things are private and are not my story to tell. I don’t know all of the conversations between the two of them. I can say there were struggles, but those conversations were private between R.J. and me and between him and his friends.”For context, the couple had been dating for five years and had gotten engaged last year in October after Mitte had proposed. His mother further shared that Suarez moved in December last year, and since then the two had met barely four times. “I don’t know what those conversations were after she moved. I had not spoken with her about not coming to the funeral. She had asked one of RJ’s friends on the day I found my son, but at that point, we didn’t even know what was happening. No plans had been made. That’s all I can share about it,” she added.As for his ‘celebration of life,’ many family members and friends from the industry attended the event. This included actor Luis Moncada, brother Daniel Moncada, and RJ’s agent and his publicist, Nedda Soltani, to name a few. Family members included Dyna, RJ’s grandmother and his sister, Lacianne Carriere.

In another interview she recently did with NBC News, Dyna also admitted that she was not fully aware of what the terms of her son’s relationship with Suarez were at the time of his demise. She shared during the talk, “I will tell you there was some of that going on. That was part of the struggle. I’m not going to lie about that. We’re a very tight, close-knit family, and that was weighing on him heavily. And I’m not going to go into the details of why that ultimatum was being given, because it’s, again, not anything I could control.”
