The team of ‘Hanuman Ansh’ met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi on Monday, following the film’s impressive theatrical run. Director Vishal Chaturvedi and lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa were present during the meeting.A source was quoted by Hindustan Times saying, “During the interaction, the Home Minister spoke about Neem Karoli Baba, on whom the film is based upon, with deep respect and shared his knowledge of Indian culture and traditions. He also encouraged the makers to continue bringing stories rooted in India’s spiritual and cultural heritage to the screen. Vishal was joined by producer Mahaveer Jain, who told Shah about their upcoming collaboration, RamBola, based on the life and legacy of Goswami Tulsidas.”‘RamBola’, which was announced earlier this month, will be written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and co-produced by Mahaveer Jain. The film will explore the life and legacy of Goswami Tulsidas.The meeting with Amit Shah comes after the ‘Hanuman Ansh’ team and prominent political leaders. Earlier this month, the makers met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow. They also met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his official residence, Varsha, in Mumbai.Released on August 7, ‘Hanuman Ansh’ has turned out to be one of the year’s unexpected theatrical successes. Made on a reported budget of around Rs 2 crore, the film had a modest opening before gaining momentum through strong word of mouth. Its box office performance saw a significant turnaround from the fourth week onwards, with the film now having crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide.
