Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ continued its impressive run at the Indian box office, despite recording its lowest single-day collection so far on Day 14. The superhero film has also scored another impressive RS 100 crore in its second week, taking its overall India gross collection to an estimated 523.64 crore.

According to the latest box office estimates on sacnilk, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ collected Rs 6.45 crore net in India on Day 14 across approximately 12,602 shows. Its estimated gross collection for the day stood at Rs 7.69 crore. As per the report, the Day 14 collection sees a 24.1% decline from Tuesday’s Rs 8.50 crore net collection. Despite the drop, the film has maintained a strong pace during its second week and earned an estimated net total of Rs 103.25 crore in six days.The film’s India net collection currently stands at approximately Rs 438 crore, while its India gross collection has reached around Rs 523.64 crore. The film had an estimated first-week collection of Rs 334.75 crore, setting up a strong foundation for its second week. It subsequently added another estimated Rs 103.25 crore during its second week, crossing the Rs 100 crore milestone for the second consecutive week.

Discounted tickets boost Tuesday business

According to Sacnilk, discounted ticket prices at major national cinema chains contributed to a noticeable surge in ticket sales on Tuesday. The strategy appeared to have a significant impact, particularly across PVR, INOX and Cinepolis. Combined ticket sales at these three major chains reportedly rose sharply compared with Monday.While around 54,000 tickets were sold across the national chains on Monday, sales reportedly jumped to approximately 135,000 tickets on Tuesday.The three chains together generated an estimated Rs 3.10 crore in gross revenue.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ eyes Rs 550 crore milestone

With its India gross now standing at approximately Rs 523.64 crore, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is closing in on the Rs 550 crore mark.The film’s performance in its third week will determine how quickly it can reach the next major milestone. While the arrival of new releases could affect its screen count and occupancy, the Tom Holland-led superhero film has already established itself as the highest-earning Hollywood release in India.
