‘Karuppu’ overcomes release trouble and emerges as a big winner
Interestingly, ‘Karuppu’ almost missed its theatrical release due to last-minute financial issues between producers and distributors. The film was originally scheduled for release on May 14, but screenings were suddenly cancelled just hours before the first shows. Later, RJ Balaji officially confirmed that the issues had been resolved, and the film was finally released the next day. Since then, the movie has managed to build excellent word-of-mouth among family audiences and fans. Meanwhile, Atlee is currently busy working on his next big project, ‘Raaka,’ starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone.
