Beyoncé releases song ahead of 20th Anniversary of ‘B’Day’
Beyoncé’s brand-new release will be included in the 20th Anniversary edition of ‘B’Day.’ She reportedly recorded the song in 2013 and teased the tune in 2021 before releasing the entire song two years later, per Variety. According to a release from Parkwood Entertainment, the lyrical video repurposes the old footage of the singer directed by Cliff Watts on her 25th birthday. Originally written by Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, and Darius Dixon, the song is “a direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B’Day.”
