'Days Of Our Lives' star Robert Kelker-Kelly passes away at 62; actor found unconscious and not breathing

Robert Kelker-Kelly, best known for playing Bo Brady on the long-running show ‘Days of Our Lives’, has sadly passed away. He was 62.Kelker-Kelly reportedly passed away on October 3 at his home in Missouri, the medical examiner told the publication. According to the St. Peters Police Department, officers responded to the actor’s home at around 8:16 pm on Saturday after receiving a report of an unconscious man who was not breathing.As per the TMZ report, CPR was already being performed on the actor when officers arrived. Sadly, Kelker-Kelly could not be revived.

Robert Kelker-Kelly’s cause of death

Although his cause of death has not yet been determined, Law enforcement told TMZ that there was nothing suspicious at the scene and that the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event.

Robert Kelker-Kelly’s acting career

Kelker-Kelly began his acting career in 1987 with ‘Another World’, where he played Sam Fowler.He joined ‘Days of Our Lives’ in 1992 as Bo Brady, taking over the role from Peter Reckell. During his stint on the NBC soap, Kelker-Kelly appeared opposite Kristian Alfonso, who played Hope Brady, and Lisa Rinna, who portrayed Billie Reed. Reckell returned to the role in 1995.Kelker-Kelly later joined another popular daytime soap, ‘General Hospital’, where he played Stavros Cassadine. Outside acting, he also worked as a professional pilot.

Lisa Rinna’s allegations about Kelker-Kelly

Kelker-Kelly made headlines earlier this year after Rinna discussed their relationship in her memoir. The actress alleged that the actor had been verbally abusive and manipulative towards her and accused him of playing mind games during their time working together on ‘Days of Our Lives’.The actor is survived by his daughter, Amelia Rose Kelly, his sister, Kathryn Kelly, and a brother.
