Eight years after winning hearts with ‘Dhadak’, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter reunited to give fans the fairytale ending their characters deserved.The former co-stars turned bride and groom for an ad shoot, and sent social media into a frenzy with their adoring posts. Ishaan took to his handle to share a picture of himself in white holding hands with his gorgeous co-star, dressed as the perfect bride. He shared the post with the caption, “Some reunions feel like no time has passed! @janhvikapoor.”

In the ad that followed, Ishaan and Janhvi played a young bridal couple, all set for the big day. Set amid a royal setting, the clip saw the actress walking down a grand staircase with Ishaan waiting for her half-way. For the shoot, the actor played the perfect doting groom in a regal ivory embroidered sherwani paired with a matching turban, while Janhvi stunned in an embellished red lehenga adorned with gold detailing. She completed her bridal look with statement jewellery, a choker necklace and a traditional nose ring.

The picture instantly sparked a wave of nostalgia among fans, many of whom were reminded of their crackling chemistry in the blockbuster film ‘Dhadak’.
