Riding on the blockbuster success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ (2024), Kartik Aaryan will return as the beloved ghostbuster, with producer Bhushan Kumar helming the fourth instalment. The screenplay is presently being developed, with the makers keen on finalising a solid script before roping in a director. The horror-comedy is expected to go on floors in the second half of 2027. Priyadarshan directed the first film in the series, while Anees Bazmee directed the next two, and he is likely to direct this one too. An official announcement is expected once the screenplay and director are finalised.
