Shah Rukh Khan is back with a bang. A new 17-second teaser for his action film ‘King’, releasing December 24, 2026, shows him looking rough and fierce: salt-and-pepper hair, a bloodied lip, and a King of Spades card gripped in his teeth. The clip ends with the text “Picture abhi baaki hai!”, echoing the unforgettable line he delivered in ‘Om Shanti Om’.

As the pulsing soundtrack builds, a gloved hand raises the split card, accompanied by the tagline “King Akela Kaafi Hai!”. The teaser then cuts to a series of stylised shots, including one of Shah Rukh standing on the edge of a striking, snow-covered mountain ridge, with the text “2 months to go!” appearing across the frame.
High-octane action and ‘King’ title reveal
The teaser continues with a burst of high-octane moments: glass shattering amid red debris, a badly beaten Khan in a blood-stained white shirt, and a slick shot of him in a yellow jacket and shades outside what looks like a prison set. With Siddharth Anand at the helm as both director and co-writer, ‘King’ brings together a star-studded cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi and Raghav Juyal. The film is produced by Gauri Khan, Anand and Mamta Anand through Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. Hitting screens during the crowded Christmas 2026 period, it will share the box office with major Hollywood titles like ‘Jumanji’, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Dune 3’.
