The actor also spoke about the growing importance of film trailers, noting how they increasingly influence audience expectations and a movie’s opening at the box office.

Sharing his thoughts on why audiences hold trailers to such a high standard, he told Variety India, “As far as people’s expectations are concerned, it is only natural. Whether it’s an Indian, Hollywood or Korean film, you look at the trailer first and figure out whether it is something that you actually want to watch. So, trailers have become very important. And they make a lot of difference to the opening of any film.”

‘Ramayana: Part 1’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, brings together a cast led by Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. It’s the first of two films adapting the Indian epic for the big screen. The film arrives in Indian theatres on November 8, 2026, timed to the Diwali weekend, with international audiences catching it two days earlier, on November 6.

Currently occupied with ‘Bigg Boss’ Telugu Season 10, Nagarjuna previously appeared opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’. He essayed the role of Anish Shetty, an artist and archaeologist central to the secret society Brahmānsh.
