Raw and ‘undekha’ version of the Ranveer Singh film to stream worldwide on Netflix, India release on THIS platform
‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ which released in cinemas on March 19 created box office history as the film collected more than Rs 1300 crore at the domestic box office and Rs 1800 crore worldwide. While the film continues to remain a talking point on social media, fans are waiting for its OTT release. There’s been a lot of speculation around the film’s digital release as there’s a change in the OTT platform. While the first part had released on Netflix, the second installment will release on this platform just for the international audience. While worldwide, the film will stream on Netflix, on India, it will be seen on JioHotstar. The split-platform strategy has sparked major discussion among fans, particularly after reports revealed that the OTT version will feature an extended and uncensored cut that is longer than the theatrical edition.Helmed by Aditya Dhar, ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ is expected to begin streaming internationally on Netflix between May 14 and 15, 2026, depending on regional time zones. For overseas viewers, the platform is reportedly releasing the film under the alternate title Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Raw & Undekha), also referred to as Raw & Unseen. The rebranded version is being promoted as a darker and more intense cut, complete with uncensored material and extra sequences omitted from the theatrical release. However, Indian viewers will not find the film on Netflix. Instead, audiences in the country can stream it on JioHotstar, ending days of confusion surrounding its digital release. The OTT edition reportedly has a runtime of nearly 3 hours and 52 minutes, making it slightly longer than the cinema version, which clocked in at 3 hours and 49 minutes. Reports further claim that the streaming cut restores several dialogues, heightened violence, and extended scenes that may have been trimmed during the theatrical certification process. The OTT release date of the film in India is yet not announced.
