SBI and SBI Capital Markets to dilute up to 1% stake in NSE offer
NEW DELHI: State Bank of India (SBI) and its subsidiary SBI Capital Markets together plan to dilute up to 1% stake in the National Stock Exchange (NSE) through the exchange’s proposed Rs 30,000-crore initial public offering (IPO). The bank is participating in the NSE IPO and will dilute a 0.7% stake in the exchange, SBI chairman CS Setty said. Highlighting the leadership position of SBI in the housing finance segment, Setty said the mortgage portfolio is set to cross the milestone of Rs 10 lakh crore in the current quarter.
