Neha Sharma demands removal of AI-generated videos and images

Her social media post leaves little room for doubt about where she stands. She wrote, “Anyone using my face or likeness to create AI-generated videos or images without my consent is hereby warned to STOP IMMEDIATELY.” The actress then went on to demand that existing content be removed and that no more such material be made or shared. “Take down all such content already posted and refrain from creating, editing, or circulating any further AI-generated videos or images using my identity. Using my face in this manner to misrepresent me or malign my reputation is completely unacceptable.”Making it clear that she has not approved any use of her identity, Neha declared, “I DO NOT CONSENT TO THE UNAUTHORIZED USE OF MY FACE OR LIKENESS.” She then turned to those responsible for the content, cautioning that legal consequences are coming. “Consider this a formal warning: I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST EVERY INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING, POSTING, OR CIRCULATING SUCH CONTENT,” she wrote.

Neha Sharma on fake accounts and accountability

Speaking to those who might think a fake profile or AI tools will keep them safe, Neha made it clear that no such shield exists. “No one should assume that hiding behind a fake account or the use of AI will protect them from accountability,” she added. Her post closed with a blunt instruction to the offenders: “TAKE IT DOWN NOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.”
