Nayanthara and Kavin will next be seen in the upcoming romance drama ‘Hi’, helmed by Vishnu Edavan, who marks his directorial debut with the film. As the film is set to hit the big screens on August 28, the makers have now unveiled its 2-minute-and-48-second trailer.The trailer introduces Kavin as Mayilsamy, a young man who has had little luck when it comes to love and marriage. Desperate to find a partner, he eventually meets Devayani, played by Nayanthara.Mayilsamy quickly falls for Devayani, but things do not go as he expects. He faces another rejection, as Devayani is portrayed as a woman who does not follow conventional rules.However, life takes an unexpected turn when the two find themselves in a difficult situation and are forced to get married, even though Mayilsamy’s love for Devayani is one-sided.The film follows what happens after their marriage and whether Mayilsamy can finally find the love he has always wanted.Check out the trailer below

Apart from Nayanthara and Kavin in the lead roles, the film also features late actor Bhagyaraj, Prabhu and Radikaa Sarathkumar in important roles.The film was initially planned for a mid-August release. However, the makers postponed it by a week and have now locked August 28 as its release date.
